For those who haven't heard the status of the APA elections (and that could be most since the APA forums don't get much attention), here they are:President-Elect: Barry Cushman
VP Government: William Gary
VP Private: George Baranowski
Secretary: Vickie Murphy-Carr
The following two races will be decided (maybe) in a run-off election as a single candidate didn't receive at least 50% of the votes:
VP Law Enforcement (Goodson / McCloughan)
Director (Oelrich / Shurany)
You'll note that the VP Law Enforcement position requires a run-off for the only two candidates who ran. Mickey Mouse didn't win. They got the identical number of votes. The moral of the story is that every vote counts, so be sure an vote in the run off.
Here are the details for that ballot:
The runoff election is scheduled to begin on June 21, 2011 at 12:01am and will close on June 28, 2011 at 12:01a.m. In order to vote, you will be required to access the same website: https://eballot4.votenet.com/polygraph
To access the ballot, enter your last name and membership ID#. Remember, your membership ID# appears after your name on the label of the current and last copy of the APA Magazine. If you do not have a copy of those magazines or your membership ID#, please contact the APA National Office at (800) APA-8037 or via email at manager@polygraph.org.
The vote counts, if you're interested, are in the APA forums. Many thanks to those who voted.
